I encourage you to check this out so that you will have some cool, free teaching resources to introduce Spanish and English to young children this coming school year!
Sure hope all of you are ready to start our weekly themed lessons via my blog right here at my web site, BocaBeth.com. Throughout the year we will share bilingual teaching resources that are age appropriate for young children, free YouTube video lessons over at my YouTube channel, run contests for cool Spanish/English stuff, and create a community of raising bilingual children.
Why? Check this out:
See you next week with Spanish and English learning geared for the young child.
Happy Educating! ¡Sea feliz educando!
Boca Beth
P.S. (Congratulations / felicitaciones to Michele, Latoya, and Tina for winning our More Boca Beth bilingual music CD for simply commenting in this blog with WHY they feel it’s important to introduce both Spanish and English to young children.)
Want to see the lyrics to our bilingual song for children to learn 20 body parts in Spanish and English? Go to our web site for FREE lyrics and FREE suggested circle time activities to go hand-in-hand with all of our Boca Beth songs.
This week we continue to explore ways to make it fun to introduce Spanish to little children. When I began my Boca Beth Program more than 10 years ago I made it my company’s main mission to bring the fun into language learning.
With the family members as the theme this week it’s pretty cool how many places there are to go to find bilingual learning resources.
This book from me+mi publishing is right on this topic about family/familia with a book titled My family and I / Mi familia y yo. You can buy it on Amazon.com but it’s kind of pricey so I would try eBay or your local library!
For all of my teacher friends, homeschooling parents and adults simply hoping to get a grasp on learning the ins and outs of Spanish vocab words about the family, this video below is a good introduction. I will warn you that it’s total immersion meaning the gentleman speaks ONLY in Spanish! Still it’s a good launching pad for trying to explain vocabulary words surrounding the family in Spanish.
I still highly suggest our Boca Beth bilingual music for kids to learn simple vocabulary words in both Spanish and English via my More Boca Beth / Más Boca Beth CD. Introducing more than 140 words and 30 phrases via the songs on this one CD seems like a no-brainer to me! Call me direct at 813.855.5393 today only – February 23rd to buy it for only $7 with FREE shipping!
More on this topic of family/familia later this week!
