Teaching Concept of Here & There Bilingually

Friday, June 1st, 2012

Don’t you love to laugh while you learn?

Enjoy this You Tube video that brings Spanish aquí & allí to life  while also introducing the English word equivalents of here & there:

I think this type of teaching a second language is super popular with many early childhood professionals because they use fun methods of teaching with the young children in their care.

Every time I keynote an Early Childhood Conference or conduct a training at a Homeschooling convention my Boca Beth bilingual approach is embraced with passion.  Watch this:

P.S. (Even though I am officially “off the speaking circuit” for at least three years as our daughter transitions from elementary school to a magnet middle school, I have decided to take three keynote engagements in 2013.  I am booked for one in MN – call me direct at 813.855.5393 to talk to me about YOUR early childhood conference needs.)

Online / On-Demand Training for Early Childhood Educators

Friday, October 29th, 2010

About three years ago I tried starting online training using GoToMeeting.  People in the early childhood field just did not embrace my vision, and I conducted none, nada, zero, zip online trainings!

Below is a video we captured of educators, moms who had me train!  Now you can have  me train your staff of early childhood professionals without flying me into your community:

Here it is late 2010, and I really think that online/on-demand training is the answer for organizations who are facing severe budget cuts and conferences whose numbers continue to trend down due to the economy and not due to lack of interest in learning new things.

Look at how fun my trainings can be, all the while helping YOU learn how to introduce Spanish and English language learning to your young children, be it a homeschooling environment, a preschool classroom or a family’s daily routine.  Boca Beth makes it fun!  Boca Beth makes it easy!  Boca Beth makes it affordable!  Get signed up for our first one hour training course by clicking here.

Thank you Grand Island, NE Early Childhood Educators – What a Great Conference for our Children's Future!

Monday, February 9th, 2009

I remember last year being invited to Keynote in Grand Island, Nebraska and asking the Conference Chair person, “Are you experiencing an increase in Latino population growth or did you simply hear that I am a fantastic Keynote?!?!?”

She answered, “Both!”  Their town of Grand Island now consists of 40% Latino families, while the entire state of Nebraska had actually increased in Latino Population something like 170% over the past five years (now, don’t quote me on that percentage, but it’s something really high because a woman on the airplane told me, I just didn’t write it down!).

BOCA the mascot and I, Boca Beth, WOWED them, educated these 325 early childcare professionals on how important it is to introduce two languages early in life for early reading skills and for creating lifetime language learners!  PLUS they had a blast!  Check out the pix below!
