What . . . you haven’t watched our show yet?  Why not?  Here are 4 reasons to tune in today:

  • It’s commercial-free because it’s online!
  • You can interact with me, the hostess of the show, via the chat feature!
  • Your children can hear their names as I look into my mirror at the end of the show (think Romper Room!)
  • We have a giveaway of Boca Beth product every show, and YOU might be the winner!

Get ready to do Movin’ & Groovin’ with us at the end of the today’s show.  It’s the song I wrote to introduce 20 body part names in Spanish and English.  Found on this Boca Beth bilingual CD for children, you can purchase it any day for a 20% savings using discount code bocarocks online at our store.

Below are the lyrics amigas, amigos / friends.  Later this week, we will share more bilingual resources to bring this song to life.

See you at 10 am EST over at my channel on MomTV.com.

Bilingual Body Parts Beware! Boca Beth Has You Covered!

Wednesday, November 10th, 2010

bodyparts          bodyparts2So many fun ways to help children learn Spanish and English together!

Did you realize experts agree that it’s just as easy for a baby and toddler to learn two words for one item as it is to learn only one word?

Hope you love these additional fun resources for kids to learn parts of the body in both English and Spanish:

First off, in addition to the Movin’ & Groovin’ bilingual song off our Sing Along with Boca Beth music CD we have a song called Where is My….? for the younger children asking where their eye/ojo, ear/oreja, mouth/boca, nose/nariz, hand/mano, and foot/pie are.  Click the link below to download the song and listen in.

Where is My…? / ¿Dónde está me…?     (click the link to the left to enjoy our first Boca Beth body parts song for kids)

Did you know that on our web site you have access to more than 140 bilingual language cards FREE that you can download and laminate for use with your young children and/or students?  Click this link to go to one of many pages of Spanish/English flashcards (I like calling them language cards because I do not like drill & instruction) and enjoy!

Later this week we will enjoy some bilingual books on this theme PLUS audio See It! Say It! files.
