It warms my heart when moms stop me to tell me what a difference my bilingual Boca Beth songs have made in their child’s language learning. They searched for a fun way to teach Spanish to their child and found us!
I am celebrating hearing another success story recently from a Tampa family, and I am sharing one of the songs she says made a HUGE difference in capturing her 6 year old son’s attention as his 2 year old sister and 4.5 year old siblings were already loving the Boca Beth Bilingual Fun Stuff. I will never forget being at a MOPS Convention where I could barely give away our Boca Beth bilingual coloring/activity book. The moms would tell me on the exhibit floor that the preschool age is too young to begin teaching Junior a second language – that learning a second language would only confuse him as he learns English.
With the article found at the link below you will read exactly why all of these young moms were so very incorrect:
Now SEE and HEAR proof that young children CAN learn a 2nd language early and have fun:
When I created the Boca Beth Program I did it with busy parents and teachers in mind who have no time for reading a 32 page How to Manual! And I had the little children in mind who are sponges during the early years of life and soak up all this new stuff quickly!
So many of the Boca Beth Language Learning Sets are super affordable and produce similar results that $499 Curriculum Kits produce with more fun and way less money. Last time I keynoted in this wonderful state I felt so very welcome AND met American Idol Danny Gokey at The Mall of America! Here’s what those amigas had to say about my keynote and trainings on how to bring Spanish and English together for young children:
If you live in the area of Monticello I encourage you to register today, and then come up to me and say HOLA during the breaks or during the shopping time Hollee has carved out during this one day Conference which will be help April 20, 2013.
Happy Educating! ¡Sea feliz educando!
P.S. Below is a short clip of me in action … maybe I could visit your early childhood or family child care conference next year? I am only conducting one each year until our daughter enters high school!
Ah … my amigas and amigos … it’s been a long, long while since posting! (Shame on me follow entrepreneurs would say, and where the heck have you been my loyal followers would say!)
Often times my sister tells me that I should write a book about my life since high school forward ~ often times I think she’s correct, other times I feel as if only my family and I would ever read it!
In a short summary I have been helping others.
I am blessed to have a husband who first of all earns enough so that I do not HAVE to hold down a full time job, a career so to speak, and secondly he is so supportive of me volunteering my time to others who need me.
The Hillsborough County Commissioners provided our Hillsborough County Chapter of NOPE some funding to get things going in our high schools! Thank you to all of their heartfelt stories shared during our meeting at the County Commissioners’ Office last summer PLUS thank you for your support.
I act as a volunteer moderator during one-hour presentations that we deliver at local Hillsborough County High Schools. During the one hour we share personal stories from 2 family members who have lost loved ones due to narcotic overdose death, we share a story of a boy caught in the horrible disease of addiction and the 911 call made by his mother when she discovers his lifeless body, and a school resource officer displays a body bag in conjunction with our efforts to work together to help these students make good choices about not using alcohol, drugs, or both.
One day I will share with you a snippet of one of these presentations on my blog, but in the meantime, know that I am still the proud owner of The Boca Beth Program and know that I continue to share my passion for second language learning for young children as much as I share my passion for keeping them alive and drug free.
Giving the gift of learning a second language will be a HUGE HIT with any family this Christmas Season of 2012!

I know this post has been a long time coming, but I wanted to wait until I had one NOPE Presentation under my belt before sharing with you all what the Lord has placed on my heart and in my life.

In a nutshell, my family’s life has personally been touched by drug addiction, and when I came off the road as a keynote speaker in the Early Childhood Field via my Boca Beth Program, this calling to become involved with NOPE of Hillsborough County and become a moderator with our school presentations tugged at my heart hard!
I will be selling out of all my hard products (meaning all puppets, CDs, DVDs, coloring books and such) while I search for a curriculum company whose leaders wish to use my bilingual songs and license them from me. This will most likely be my last Christmas of selling Boca Beth music CDs, DVDs, and gift sets. Plus I have one training (Pasco County) and one Keynote (Minnesota) left to share.
It’s been a wonderful journey … both as an educator, an entrepreneur, a mom-owned business owner, and an amiga to so many people I have met along my Boca Beth Journey.
The Heavenly Father wants more from me, and I am poised to provide just that. Sharing the message of NOPE is how I pray that I will make a difference in the lives of many, many students sitting in our auditoriums during our one-hour school presentations.
Thank you for being my friends. I will continue to blog about winding things up. And if any of you know of a company looking to have our 50 bilingual songs for children to use in their curriculum, please let me know and/or give them my contact information.
Many thanks. Happy Educating! ¡Sea feliz educando!
