Ah … my amigas and amigos … it’s been a long, long while since posting! (Shame on me follow entrepreneurs would say, and where the heck have you been my loyal followers would say!)

Often times my sister tells me that I should write a book about my life since high school forward ~ often times I think she’s correct, other times I feel as if only my family and I would ever read it!

In a short summary I have been helping others.
I am blessed to have a husband who first of all earns enough so that I do not HAVE to hold down a full time job, a career so to speak, and secondly he is so supportive of me volunteering my time to others who need me.
I volunteered with our Tampa International Airport starting July of 2012 during the RNC (Republican National Convention) and recently left that volunteer position to focus more on my main volunteer passion which is NOPE (Narcotics Overdose Prevention and Education).
The Hillsborough County Commissioners provided our Hillsborough County Chapter of NOPE some funding to get things going in our high schools! Thank you to all of their heartfelt stories shared during our meeting at the County Commissioners’ Office last summer PLUS thank you for your support.
I act as a volunteer moderator during one-hour presentations that we deliver at local Hillsborough County High Schools. During the one hour we share personal stories from 2 family members who have lost loved ones due to narcotic overdose death, we share a story of a boy caught in the horrible disease of addiction and the 911 call made by his mother when she discovers his lifeless body, and a school resource officer displays a body bag in conjunction with our efforts to work together to help these students make good choices about not using alcohol, drugs, or both.
One day I will share with you a snippet of one of these presentations on my blog, but in the meantime, know that I am still the proud owner of The Boca Beth Program and know that I continue to share my passion for second language learning for young children as much as I share my passion for keeping them alive and drug free.
Happy Educating! ¡Sea feliz educando!
