I know my fellow teachers from the National Head Start Conference where I just presented two dynamic workshops on how to bring Spanish and English together for little children ages birth – five will be celebrating Cinco de Mayo in their classrooms!   Thanks Head Start for all of the fun, the connections and the interested attendees!

To win this cool Boca Beth bilingual t-shirt for your child or for yourself plus our 44-page coloring/activity book that is approved for Early Literacy Skills because both languages are presented on each page, simply comment below about your favorite way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo in years past (it might even have been with Margaritas!).

We love to go to a family friendly Mexican restaurant for Cinco de Mayo. We enjoy celebrating Cinco de Mayo with traditional Mexican food and my husband and I will even have some frozen Margaritas. I like to read my daughter some relevant Cinco de Mayo book that we check out at our library. I love to teach my children about other Holidays that are celebrated around the world.

  2. We have something like a mini spanish party. This includes baking, fight competitions, dancing competitions etc. It’s actually quite fun while remembering this historical day in Mexico’s history.
