Should a Recording Artist Go Green?

Friday, April 22nd, 2011

The past two days found me in Atlanta to attend the Dove Music Awards.  As I purchased some CDs from a new, up & coming Christian music artist I was so very puzzled over why these CDs are in the old fashion jewel cases.

You know the ones that don’t break down nor decompose in the landfills?  It drives me crazy / loca la cabeza that these recording artists are choosing to stay non-green (or is it un-green?!?!?!).

I made the decision more than  3 years ago to go green with Boca Beth … turning each CD and DVD package into a recycled paper and vegetable based ink project.  I love that I am contributing to saving this Earth and its resources.  Catch the YouTube video below that shows my announcement:

How to Raise a Bilingual Child the Fun Way

Tuesday, April 19th, 2011

I had such a BLAST recording the Spanish part of Dr. Jean’s newest CD that will be titled Fusion Fiesta Fun!  She is such a great lady with such a history of making wonderful music that teaches young children all kinds of things while they have fun (and the teachers & parents love it too!!!).

I recall being on a cruise ship a couple years back, and the kids’ camp Pre-K age group performed her infamous Tooty-Ta song!!!  Now that is when you know you have made it big when you hear your children’s recordings being played on the open waters.

I Tooty Ta!

I invite you to watch the replay of my 4.19.11 show over at my channel on MomTV.com.  You will be able to hear many of the new songs from this soon-to-be-released bilingual CD set.

Things I Do As a Business Owner That You Don't Know About

Thursday, April 14th, 2011

So much has changed since I first started Boca Beth LLC in the spring of 2002!

baby-brezza-maker

There was print ad, TV publicity, press releases for news coverage ~ you know, the traditional way of letting people know about your company.

Then came blogs, MySpace, GoogleAds, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter ~ you know, the new and social media way of letting people know about your company.

This week has been chock-full of the new ways I promote my Boca Beth passion and product line.  Hoping to keep my company around for years (in spite of the recession that continues to find many places closing up shop).

Check out this blog post by a mom who was ‘testing’ our bilingual children’s products.  HONEST and UNEDITED

Next I invite you to view a webisode that I created for the wonderful Baby Brezza One Step Baby Food Maker.  It was SOOOOO much fun doing this – I think I have found my next calling in life…webisodes for company’s products (products that I REALLY believe in!).

I thank all of you who have supported my passion for Boca Beth and continue to support my company and my bilingual product line by letting others know to buy online our award-winning bilingual music CDs, DVDs, coloring/activity books and puppets.
