Looking for a fun and easy-to-follow song for young children for greeting fun? This upbeat Boca Beth bilingual song presented in English and Spanish is used throughout preschool and early elementary school age classrooms throughout the world as a way of asking friends how they are and replying in both languages.
My head is spinning! I flew in late last night from training Head Start staff in Albany, Georgia (what a fun group and eager to learn new ideas of how to bring Spanish into their daily routine even though they speak only English themselves – except for my two new amigas Mariela and Margarita!).
Check out how much fun we had singing and dancing and playing as we learned yesterday that you do NOT have to be a native speaker of a language to help young children learn that new language! This bilingual stuff really works when done correctly and each day!
Happy Educating! ¡Sea feliz educando!
P.S. ( I head over to the One Goal Summer Conference to train today, tomorrow and Friday – join me!!!!)
Enjoy teaching your special young children opposites in Spanish, English and American Sign Language with our Boca Beth bilingual song from our third CD- written and recorded for physical fitness fun for young children as they learn languages!
140 first graders from Plumb Elementary School in Clearwater, Florida performed this bilingual song during their multicultural night!
BOCA (the language amigo of children worldwide) has been traveling with me this summer, and today is your lucky day to guess where he was when this picture was taken! Name the city, state, and what is so special about this exact location to win – we know it’s a Starbucks - tell us what is special about THIS location. (All three must be mentioned in your comment in order to win the two prizes!)
Hard to believe I start my next round of keynote speaking and feature training in the field of early childhood development and language learning skills. I really love this part of my journey as an entrepreneur – visiting other parts of our country and sharing my insight and expertise on how bilingual music and movement fun can teach Spanish to English-speaking kids and English to Spanish-speaking kids.
Catch me training in Georgia and Florida next week, Keynoting in Maryland, Massachusetts and Iowa August and September, then Arkansas and Virginia (we are hoping) in October! I try not to travel too much since we are really focusing on bringing the Boca Beth Backpack to market this fall in a BIG / GRANDE way, but my passion for sharing my message of ‘you do not have to be a native speaker of a language in order to give the gift of that new language to young children’ takes control, and off I go!
I will leave you with a very short version of me in action in Nebraska earlier this year with early childhood professionals singing our Boca Beth song Movin’ & Groovin’ off our physical fitness CD found right here!
Bet you never thought you would see a little 2year old singing the days of the week after only 10 days of having the CD in her life that taught them to her! Click below to hear little Abi singing I Know the Days of the Week / Yo sé los días de la semana in Spanish and English. Followed by little Graham Moving’ & Grooving to our Boca Beth body parts song that is kind of like Simon Says meets Boca Beth.
Young children learn 20 body parts in Spanish and English. Turn up the volume on the 2nd one!
Should you wish to see the words for either of these songs – visit our web site’s FREE resource area found at this link!
And buy the CDs for a great language learning price of only $14.99 each at this link!
Summer is an excellent time to jump start your child’s neural pathway connections for a lifetime of language learning!
This is the current front cover of our More Boca Beth / Más Boca Bethbilingual music CD for children ages birth – ten!
