My head is spinning!  I flew in late last night from training Head Start staff in Albany, Georgia (what a fun group and eager to learn new ideas of how to bring Spanish into their daily routine even though they speak only English themselves – except for my two new amigas Mariela and Margarita!).

Check out how much fun we had singing and dancing and playing as we learned yesterday that you do NOT have to be a native speaker of a language to help young children learn that new language!  This bilingual stuff really works when done correctly and each day!

Hard to believe I start my next round of keynote speaking and feature training in the field of early childhood development and language learning skills.  I really love this part of my journey as an entrepreneur – visiting other parts of our country and sharing my insight and expertise on how bilingual music and movement fun can teach Spanish to English-speaking kids and English to Spanish-speaking kids.

Catch me training in Georgia and Florida next week, Keynoting in Maryland, Massachusetts and Iowa August and September, then Arkansas and Virginia (we are hoping) in October!  I try not to travel too much since we are really focusing on bringing the Boca Beth Backpack to market this fall in a BIG / GRANDE way, but my passion for sharing my message of ‘you do not have to be a native speaker of a language in order to give the gift of that new language to young children’ takes control, and off I go!

I had spent about 35 minutes with these early childhood professionals from ESC * Region 20 in San Antonio, Texas when they volunteered to be maestras/teachers for our Boca Beth Program!

Visual learning aids I bought at Lakeshore Learning, then laminated them together for the beginning reading part of our fun and easy-to-use bilingual program.
